Heard Sri Suresh Kumar Maurya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Gaurav Singh, learned Standing Counsel, who appears for State- respondents. 2. A preliminary objection has been raised by the learned Standing Counsel that an appeal lies before the Commissioner against the order passed by the District Magistrate and imposing punishment on 28.11.2025. 3. The said legal position has not been disputed by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner. 4. Accordingly the writ petition stands disposed of directing the writ petitioner to prefer an appeal before the authority and in case such an appeal is preferred by 22.01.2026 then the question of delay would not come into play and the appeal be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of the certified copy of the order. 5.
