Heard Sri Ashutosh Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anupam Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The case of the writ petitioner is that he has sought compassionate appointment, however, the writ petitioner has not been issued appointment letter in that regard. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim. 4. Sri Anupam Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the claim of the writ petitioner is under consideration and needs adjudication at the first instance by the third respondent, Deputy Inspector General of Police (D.I.G.)
