Heard Sri Ram Surat Patel, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Rahul Malviya, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel regarding the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that this Court may not have territorial jurisdiction in the matter, particularly, when the writ petitioner is posted in Lucknow and he seeks transfer to district Balrampur or Basti or Siddharthnagar. 3. Learned counsel the writ petitioner could not dispute the legal position. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off granting liberty to the writ petitioner to prefer proceedings before the Court of law having territorial jurisdiction over the matter.
