The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS, seeking quashing of proceedings arising out of FIR No. 0796/2023 dated 19.12.2023, registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at P.S: Narela, along with all proceedings emanating therefrom. 2. As per the material placed on record, marriage took place between Mr. Sunil (petitioner No.1) and Ms. Jyoti (respondent No.2) on 27.06.2020 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. 3. As per allegations appearing in FIR, respondent No.2/ complainant was subjected to cruelty by the petitioners, resulting in registration of abovesaid FIR. 4. Chargesheet has already been filed which is directed against four accused persons/ petitioners herein i.e. Husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. 5. However, in the interregnum, both the parties have resolved all their grievances and the Settlement Deed has, accordingly, been executed on 16.12.2025 whereby both the sides have now desired to live together. 7. Respondent No.2 is present in Court in person and she also reiterates the terms of settlement and submits that she has compromised the matter with her husband and is residing happily with him since April 2025. 8.
