Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No.00154/2021 dated 06.01.2021, registered at P.S. Welcome, under Sections 498A and 406, IPC, along with consequential proceedings, based on compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. Petitioner No. 1-Rizwan got married to respondent NO. 2-Soni @ Salmani on 31.03.2010, as per Muslim rites and ceremonies. On 16.09.2019, respondent No. 2 filed a complaint before DCP, North-West District, Seelampur, Delhi for registration of FIR against the Petitioners. Pursuant to such complaint, the abovesaid FIR was registered. The chargesheet had, reportedly, been filed. 3. It is apprised that the matter has been amicably settled in terms of settlement deed dated 26.05.2025. The parties have also started living together and, therefore, the complainant i.e. respondent No.2-Ms. Soni @ Salmani is not interested in pursuing her abovesaid criminal complaint. 5. The terms of the settlement have been reiterated by respondent No.2, who is present in person. She has also been duly identified by her counsel Ms. Namrata Kathuria, Advocate, D/13369/2024. 6. Respondent No.2 submits that she has, voluntarily, entered into settlement and that there are no other cases, pertaining to the marriage in question, pending in any Court
