The present petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 85/2025 dated 23.10.2025, registered at Police Station Cyber Police Station East for commission of offence under Section 318(4) Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 (corresponding Section 420 of IPC), along with all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. The abovesaid FIR was lodged on the basis of a complaint made by Sh. Vikas Kumar (respondent No.2 herein), who reported about online fraud whereby he lost a sum of Rs.1,54,629/-. 3. During investigation, police reached the alleged beneficiary i.e. petitioner Ms. Diya Devi. 4.
