The offence alleged against the accused/applicant is that he conspired with co-accused persons and joined the house of the complainant de facto as a domestic help, after which all of them committed theft of a number of articles and cash from the house. There is no eyewitness of the alleged occurrence. The accused/applicant was arrested on 24.07.2025 and continues to be in jail. Admittedly, nothing incriminating was recovered from the accused/applicant. Even the alleged CCTV footage shown to me does not appear to be a footage from the installed CC
