This is a petition filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (“1996 Act”) seeking to set aside the Arbitral Award dated 20.12.2016 (“impugned Award”), wherein the claims of the respondent were allowed and was awarded a sum of Rs.6,87,09,157/- towards pending bills and Rs. 32,82,807/- as refund of security along with interest @ 9% p.a from the date of invocation of the arbitration clause upto the date of the award and future interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of the award till its realization.
