The prosecution alleges that the applicant had an illicit relationship with the deceased and had called her to his rented room on 16.07.2025, where a dispute allegedly took place, and the dead body was later recovered from that room. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. He was not present at the place of occurrence at the relevant time, and there is no evidence to show his presence. It is also argued that mere tenancy of the room does not attract culpability.
