The present bail application under Section 483 BNSS has been filed on behalf of applicant, Sahil with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 383 of 2025, under Sections 8/20 b (ii) C/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station- Pallavpuram, District- Meerut. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that 20.600 Kilogram Ganja is alleged to have been recovered from the joint possession of the applicant and other co- accused persons. The recovered contraband is marginally above than the commercial quantity. In fact no such recovery was effected from the applicant.
