The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicants, Wasim Ahmad and Sakir Khan @ Golu with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 1087 of 2025, under Section 8/20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station- Kotwali Lalitpur, District- Lalitpur. Learned counsel for the applicants has contended that 9 Kg. 732 grams of Ganja is alleged to have been recovered from the joint possession of the applicants, which is below commercial quantity.
