Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the applicant is a poor person and has nothing to do with the said offence. There is no eye-witness account of the incident. The informant has only seen the applicant running away with a pointed weapon. The trial is moving at a snail's pace and there is no likelihood of conclusion of trial in near future. 5.
