As per the prosecution story, the applicant along with his father is stated to have slaughtered his wife by stabbing her several times with a knife on 01.10.2017 at about 2:30 a.m. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant has stated that the allegations are per se false. There is no eye-witness to the incident. Some unknown person has committed the said offence.
