The present petition is filed challenging the judgment dated 18.02.2014 (hereafter ‘impugned judgment’), passed in CA No. 20/13, whereby the learned Additional Sessions Judge (‘ASJ’), Rohini Courts, Delhi upheld the judgment of conviction dated 05.10.2010 and Signature Not Verified Signed By:DEEPANSHU Signing Date:09.01.2026 CRL.REV.P. 132/2014 Page 1 of 15 20:04:32 order on sentence dated 10.11.2010, in Case No. 407/2 arising out of FIR No. 436/99 (‘FIR’), registered at Police Station SP Badli. 2. By the judgment of conviction dated 05.10.2010, the learned Trial Court convicted the petitioner for the offences under Sections 279/304A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’). By the order on sentence dated 10.11.2010, the learned Trial Court sentenced the petitioner to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay a fine of ₹4000/- for the offence under Section 304A of the IPC, and in default of payment of fine, to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of three months. No sentence was awarded for the offence under Section 279 of the IPC in view of the sentence imposed for the offence under Section 304A of the IPC. 3. The brief facts of the case are as follows: 3.1.
