This petition has been filed, challenging the Order dated 19.12.2017 passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as, the ‘Tribunal’) in O.A. No. 4265/2014, titled Ashok Kumar (Ex-Constable) v. Commissioner of Police & Ors., whereby the said O.A. filed by the petitioner herein was dismissed. FACTS OF THE CASE: 2. On the registration of the above FIR, the petitioner was placed under suspension vide order dated 15.06.1994, and was later reinstated in service vide order dated 25.03.1996. 4. He was convicted in the said criminal case by an order dated 16.02.2006 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, New Delhi. He was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for seven years and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/- for commission of the offence punishable under Section 307 of the IPC, and in default
