The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the following prayers:- "I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 2 to pass legal order on the representation dated 30.01.2006 with in stipulated period. II. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus commanding the private respondents not to dispossess the petitioner and also not occupy the land of petitioner Arazi No.149A, 149ba and 221 situated in village Sansarpatti Pargana Anguli Tehsil Shahganj District Jaunpur." 2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of State- Respondents submit that if the petitioner is aggrieved against private individuals then the proper course open for him is to apply for common law remedy. 3. From perusal of the record, it is clear that the petitioner wants relief against the private individuals which cannot be granted under writ jurisdiction.
