The petitioner has preferred the present petition with the prayer to direct the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Azamgarh to decide the application dated 19.08.2025 in which prayer has been made to remove the illegal encroachments made by some villagers. 2. Today when the matter is taken up, a preliminary objection has been raised by learned standing Counsel that the present petition is not maintainable as the alternative statutory remedy is available to the petitioner to initiate proceedings under Section 26 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 3. In view of the availability of statutory alternative remedy, the writ petition is dismissed. (Prakash Padia,J.)
