The petitioners have preferred the present petition inter-alia with the prayer to issue a mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to pass the appropriate order in resolution dated 22.05.2023 for the allotment of agricultural patta to the petitioners. 2. It is argued by the counsel for the petitioners that the meeting of the Land Management Committee was held on 22.05.2023 and in the said meeting the resolution was passed to allot a particular land in favour of the petitioners and others. It is further argued that as per Section 121 of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016 the respondent no.3 prepared a list of eligible person. Thereafter a resolution was passed on 22.05.2023 in favour of the petitioners and other similarly situated persons and same was send to the respondent no.2 for its approval.
