It is argued that the piece of land was allotted in favour of the husband of the petitioner on 30.09.1987 and his name was also recorded in the revenue records. He died on 18.03.2016. After his death, an application was submitted by the petitioner being widow of late Bhopal on 09.12.2025 before the Respondent No.2 namely Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, District Meerut with the prayer to enter her name in the revenue record. Since no action has been taken, hence the present writ petition. 2. On the other hand, it is argued by the learned Standing Counsel that statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to move a proper application as provided under Section 33 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 3. In this view of the matter and also in the interest of justice, petitioner is permitted to initiate a proceedings as provided under Section 33 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. If such application is filed, author
