The only prayer made in the present petition is to direct the respondent no.2/District Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar to decide the representation dated 17.01.2026, copy of the aforesaid representation is appended as Annexure No.1 to the writ petition. It is stated in the aforesaid representation, Gram Pradhan and other persons are trying to remove the possession of the petitioner from his holding. 2. In exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226, the Court cannot record a finding on the disputed fact regarding the possession over the land and accordingly, no relief could be granted to the petitioner. 3. The writ petition is dismissed however the petitioner has liberty to avail the remedy available under Common Law. (Prakash Padia,J.)
