The proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was initiated by the petitioners before the respondent no.2-Tehsildar, Soraon, District Prayagraj, which was registered as Case No.1493 of 2016-18. In the said proceedings an ex-parte order was passed against the petitioners on 15.03.2016. Aggrieved against the aforesaid restoration application was filed on 29.05.2018. 2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioners that aforesaid restoration application is still pending consideration. 3. It is unfortunate that restoration application is pending consideration before the respondent no.2 for last more than seven years. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, present writ petition is disposed of finally directing the respondent no.2 to decide the aforesaid application expeditiously and positively within a period of
