At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is permitted to correct the description of respondent no.4 in the prayer clause no.1 of the instant writ petition, during the course of the day. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 3. Instant writ petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking the following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to respondent no.2/ Consolidation Officer, Sikandarpur, District Ballia to decide the Case No. TB26/CO (Virendar Vs. Magani and others), under Section 9A(2) of C.H. Act dated 13.02.2024 (as Annexure No.1 to this writ petition), filed by the applicant/contesting respondent no.4, in respect to the Khata No. 1456A, situated in revenue Village- Pur, Pargana- Sikandarpur Purvi, Tehsil- Sikandarpur, District Ballia, pending before him expeditiously and within a period, so prescribed by this Hon'ble Court." 4.
