At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for and is permitted to correct the prayer No. 'A', during the course of the day. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel representing State-respondents and perused the record on board. 3. This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief: "A. Issue a writ order of direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2/ Settlement Officer of Consolidation Banda to decide the case No . 299/20 of 2025 (Badda Vs Binda & Others) u/s 11 (1) of the U.P Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1983, within a reasonable time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 4.
