It is submitted that the consolidation proceedings were finalised up to the stage of Section 23 of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act 1953 (in brevity UPCH Act); however, without considering its implications, the consolidation operation has been cancelled by issuance of notification under Section 6(1) of the UPCH Act. 3. Learned standing counsel has contended that the grievance of the petitioner can more appropriately be redressed by the Consolidation Commissioner, U.P., Lucknow (respondent no.2), and he has no objection in case a direction is issued for deciding the fresh representation to be moved by the present petitioner within a stipulated period, as may be directed by this Court. 4. In this conspectus, as above, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this matter pending; therefore, this court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition final
