Heard Sri Rajesh Kumar Dubey along with Sri Kashi Naresh Mishra, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Gaurav Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed as Sub Inspector on 10.02.1998 and in the year 2016, he was promoted as Inspector and further promoted as Deputy Superintendent of Police in the year 2024 and superannuated on 31.12.2024. It is also the case of the writ petitioner that on 21.02.2024, he was admitted in a hospital and the writ petitioner claimed medical reimbursement/allowance to the tune of Rs. 16,08,165/- out of which on 16.04.2024 by virtue of an order of the Deputy Secretary, State of U.P. addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Lucknow 75% of the amount totalling to Rs. 12,06,123/- was sanctioned.
