The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed on the post of Driver in Police Department and superannuated on 30.06.2022, however, the respondents have recovered an amount of Rs. 2,46,026/-, the writ petitioner seeks refund of the same. In view of the judgment in State of Punjab Vs. Rafiq Masih (White Washer), 2015 (4) SCC 334 and Thomas Daniel Vs. State of Kerala and others, (2022) LiveLaw (SC) 438. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the writ petitioner may approach the fourth respondent, Finance Controller/Chief Finance & Account Officer, U.P. Police Headquarters, Allahabad. 4.
