The writ petitioner claims to be Gram Panchayat Adhikari who is superannuated on 31.01.2023 alleging irregularity, a show cause notice came to be issued on 21.03.2024 relatable to U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 and Rules 256 of the Rules in question. The writ petitioner claims to have tendered his reply on 27.03.2024, according to the writ petitioner, respondents seek to direct the writ petitioner to deposit an amount of Rs. 20,000/-. 3. On a pointed query being raised to the learned counsel for the writ petitioner whether there has been any deduction done, the answer is in negative. Be that as it may, since the writ petitioner has responded to the show cause notice dated 21.03.2024 on 27.03.2024, thus, the competent authority is directed to consider the reply so submitted and to pass
