The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed as a Constable in Police Department on 12.12.1984, promoted as Head Constable in the year 1990. He was further promoted as Sub-Inspector in the year 1996 and superannuated on 31.12.2024. As per the writ petitioner, there is a criminal case pending against the writ petitioner being Case Crime no.190 of 2022 under Sections 147, 452, 323, 504, 506, 306 of IPC, P.S. Doghat, District Baghpat, in which a charge sheet has been filed bearing number "55 of 2022" on 28.09.2022.
