Heard Sri Ashutosh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The case of the writ petitioner is that the husband of the writ petitioner late Hirendra Kumar was an employee in the Indian Postal Department who had taken a Postal Endowment Assurance Policy. In the nominee column, he has named Smt. Nand Rani, the mother of the deceased. At the time of death of late Hirendra, he was not married, however, the writ petitioner solemnized marriage with the deceased. According to the writ petitioner, post death of her husband, the writ petitioner is entitled to the said benefit. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to accord the said benefit. 4.
