The case of the writ petitioners is that they were enrolled in the Indian Army as Soldiers on 02.11.2003, 13.09.2001, 22.05.2003, 25.08.1996, 12.07.2000, 09.02.2002, 01.03.2002. They were discharged on 31.01.2020, 30.09.2018, 30.11.2019, 01.09.2018, 01.06.2017, 28.02.2019 and 31.05.2019 and thereafter pursuant to the Advertisement published for the post of Constable, petitioner nos. 1 to 6 were re-appointed on 02.06.2021 and petitioner no.7 on 07.09.2021. The writ petitioners earlier preferred Writ-A No.19517 of 2022 for according pay protection relatable to the services undergone in Indian Army.
