By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the judgment and order dated 30.01.2026 passed by U.P. Public Service Tribunal in Claim Petition No.1237 of 2019 as also the order dated 21.05.2019 which was impugned therein. 3. During course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that his client had been appointed as Electrician in 1983 and had never been designated as Junior Engineer, therefore, we take notice of this submission as in the judgment it is mentioned that he was redesignated as Junior Engineer. Nevertheless, the claim of the petitioner herein is that after appointment in 1983, he should have been given the pay scale of Rs.1200-2040 w.e.f. 01.01.1986 as per recommendations of Samata Samiti Report, 1987. The petitioner never raised any such claim while he was in service. He retired
