The case of the writ petitioner is that the writ petitioners are working on the post of Sub Inspector in different different districts of the State. The petitioners claim that they have completed 19 years satisfactory service and they are entitled to the benefit of one additional increment according to the Government Order so issued on 02.12.2000. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondent authorities to take into consideration the service period spent by the petitioners while undergoing before they were appointed as Constable for calculating 19 years of service granting one additional increment according to the Government Order. 4.
