A preliminary objection has been raised regarding the maintainability of the present writ petition on the ground that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy by approaching the Central Administrative Tribunal by filing an Original Application under Section 19(v) of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. 3. In support of the said contention, reliance has been placed upon the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in L. Chandra Kumar vs. Union of India, AIR 1997 SC 1125. 4.
