Heard Sri Kailash Prakash Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri learned Standing Counsel, who appears for State-respondents. 2. The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed on the post of constable on 10.01.2011, Head Constable in the year 2023. However, while the writ petitioner was posted in Varanasi, an order came to be passed on 15.06.2025 by the DIG (Karmik) Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow transferring the writ petitioner from Varanasi to Prayagraj, however, the relieving order came to be passed on 10.11.2025. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the writ petitioner ought not to have been transferred/ relieved, particularly, wherein as per the Government order dated 06.05.2025, the relieving is to be made within a period of one week.
