Heard Sri Lallan Prasad Pal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rahul Malviya, learned Standing Counsel, who appears for State- respondents. 2. The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed on the post of Tracer on 27.10.1983 and he superannuated on 30.09.2025. However, he has not been paid pensionary benefits. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the page 22 of the paperbook which happens to be a representation preferred by the writ petitioner shows that the some inquiry is pending. 5. Be that as it may be, in the opinion of the Court, let a conscious decision is to be taken by the respondent no. 4, Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Jaunpur with regard to payment of pensionary benefits bearing in mind the fact whether any inquiry pending or contemplated in that regard. 6.
