The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed as Driver in the Forest Department in June, 1998 and since the service of the writ petitioner were not being regularized in terms of the Uttar Pradesh Regularization of Daily Wages Appointments on Group 'D' Posts Rules, 2001 so the writ petitioner preferred Writ-A No. 41198 of 2003 for regularization of the services which came to be disposed of on 18.07.2014 requiring the respondents to consider the claim and thereafter the writ petitioner's services was regularized w.e.f. 10.01.2020.
