The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed as Block Development Officer, he took charge on 15.12.1997 and his services stood confirmed on 04.12.1999. A Departmental Promotion Committee stood convened on 24.10.2025 and the case of the writ petitioner was recommended for being accorded promotion on the post of Chief Development Officer.
