The case of the writ petitioners is that all the writ petitioners are working as Head Constable, Sub Inspector, Inspector and T.S.I. n various districts of the State of U.P., the petitioners are Group C State Government employees. The petitioners claim that they have completed 19 years satisfactory service and they are entitled to the benefit of one additional increment according to the Government Order so issued on 02.12.2000. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondent authorities to take into consideration the service period spent by the petitioners for calculating 19 years of service granting one additional increment according to the Government Order. 4.
