The counsel for the rival parties have made a joint statement that they do not propose to file any further affidavits thus with the consent of the parties, writ petition is being decided at the fresh stage. 3. The case of the writ petitioner is that he was earlier enrolled as a Soldier in Indian Army on 31.10.1982 and he was discharged on 01.11.1999 and thereafter he was appointed on the post of Constable on 25.06.2005 in U.P. Police and superannuated on 31.01.2025. According to the writ petitioner, his salary was re-fixed on 30.04.2015, however, by virtue of the order dated 24.09.2024 passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mathura on the basis of the committee so constituted, re-fixation has been done on the premise that certain benefits
