The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed on the post of Home Guard on 31.07.2004, however, a show cause notice came to be issued to the writ petitioner on 12.12.2023, as to why his appointment may not be cancelled in view of the fact that he is a history-sheeter. The writ petitioner tendered his reply and thereafter now, the order impugned came to be passed on 12.02.2024 by the District Commandant, Home Guards, Deoria. 4.
