MAC.APP. 984/2016 has been filed by the Insurance Company challenging the award on the basis of assessment of benchmark income at Rs.12,000/- per month, without any evidence, and that the functional disability should not be assessed as more than 40%. The cross-appeal, MAC.APP. 1004/2016, has been filed by the claimant seeking enhancement of compensation. 2.
