Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 0070/2018 dated 05.02.2018, registered at Police Station Ambedkar Nagar, for commission of offences under Sections 323/506/509 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. There was marriage between petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 and, admittedly, parties have already taken divorce. A petition seeking divorce was filed by petitioner no. 1, which has, already, attained finality. 3. After such divorce, respondent no. 2 has married someone else. 4. Proceedings with respect to FIR in question are going on against her husband and his two close relatives. 5. Charge-sheet has already been filed. However, charges are yet to be framed.
