This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to remove unauthorised encroachment over the public utility land at Village Jungle Sikri urf Khorabar, Tehsil Sadar, District Gorakhpur. 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that a representation was made by the petitioner on 04.02.2025 alleging encroachment and now the present PIL has been filed. 3. A perusal of the picture (Annexure-2) produced by the petitioner indicates that the construction is not new, the same appears to be existing for a very long time. Nothing has been indicated in the petition for the trigger for the petitioner to have filed the representation and then presenting the PIL.
