This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to pass appropriate order for removal of encroachment from Khasra No. 246A, admeasuring 0.0580 hectare, situated in Village Beri Chahar, Tehsil Khairagarh, District Agra. 2. Submissions have been made that land in question is recorded as drain (Nala), however, respondent nos. 7 to 14 have encroached over the said drain and despite repeated complaints made in this regard, no action has been taken. 3. Instructions have been produced by learned Standing Counsel inter alia indicating that land comprised in Khasra No. 246A is owned by private parties, whereas Khasra No. 246B is drain and on the said drain, there is no encroachment. The plea raised pertaining to Khasra No. 246A is baseless
