This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner, a lawyer, inter alia, seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer respondent No. 7 from the present place of posting and raising grievance regarding the working in relation to the Tehsil-Shahganj, District-Jaunpur at the Headquarters Jaunpur. 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that representations have been made by the lawyers, inter alia, seeking transfer of respondent No. 7 and threatening dire consequences in case transfer does not takes place. 3. Filing of representations of the present nature and then seeking direction from the Court in a PIL for transfer of an officer, cannot be countenanced.
