This petition, purportedly, in public interest has been filed by the petitioner claiming itself to be an organization of teachers of aided colleges and also of the teachers of self-finance scheme courses of the aided colleges affiliated to the University. 2. The prayer, inter alia, is commanding the respondent No.2 to consider the teachers under the self-finance scheme courses of the aided financial institution for allotment of research supervisor in the on-going Ph.D. entrance test 2024 of the University. 3. The members of the petitioner association have personal interest in the outcome of the present PIL and, as such, the same in the nature of public interest is not maintainable. 4.
