This petition purportedly in public interest has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents for widening the road of Tehsil Rath as per approved standard of 110 feet of State Highway for congestion free passage to the local citizen of Tehsil Rath, District Hamirpur. 2. Submissions have been made that though the road is being constructed by the respondents, the encroachers over the road are not being removed and in absence of the action against the encroachers, the road, as constructed, would be of no use and would be below the standard width, i.e. 110 metres. 3.
