Learned counsel for the Nagar Nigam says that the Nagar Nigam tried to remove the encroachment on public road but on account of resistance by the local residents was unsuccessful because there was no assisted by police personnel. 4. Let the concerned officials of the Municipal Corporation request the concerned D.C.P. for providing adequate police assistance for removal of encroachment and then do the needful after assessing the situation, unless there is any legal impediment in the form of any stay order of any court etc. If nothing happens within one month, it shall be open for the petitioner to
