This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to take action against respondent no. 5 for his alleged encroachment over the land recorded as 'Khalihan' in the revenue record. 2. Learned counsel for Gaon Sabha - opposite party no. 4 submits that already proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 have been initiated against respondent no. 5 wherein 19 February, 2026 was the date fixed. 3. In view of the above fact situation wherein the respondent - Gaon Sabha has already taken steps, there is no reason to continue with the present petition. The same therefore, stands disposed of.
