Through the present Petition, the Petitioner assails the correctness of the judgment dated 08.07.2021 [hereinafter referred to as „Impugned Judgment‟] passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal [hereinafter referred to as „CAT‟], whereby O.A. No.322/2020 filed by the Petitioner was dismissed, while refusing to interfere with the order passed by the Disciplinary Authority ordering reduction of present time scale of pay to the lower time scale for a period of three years, which was to operate as a bar to his promotion during that period to the post for which he is reduced, with further Signature Not Verified Signed By:JAI NARAYAN Signing Date:27.02.2026 W.P.(C) 10453/2025 Page 1 of 12 16:35:53 direction that on the expiry of the said period, the future increments of his pay shall stand postponed and that he shall not regain his original seniority in the higher times scales of post on restoration of his original post, which in Appeal was affirmed by the Appellate Authority. 2.
